On 21 of October i started of a new segment of the “Journey beyond three seas” – Volgograd – Astrakhan. I have about 450 km to go, but given the weather and the condition of my leg, it will take at least one month.
We left Volgograd in the best of spirits – after all to see off us there were all actors of the Volgograd circus, and actors of the program “Indie-RA” Andrey Dementiev-Kornilov. The most touching was the blessing of the elephants! You know that in India the elephant is considered a sacred animal, and there are many temples where these cleverest animals live, and bless the parishioners with their trunk!
Now I have a cart… I do not know it became easier or heavier, but at least it makes it possible to take with you edible supplies. Probably from the side I look like a donkey or a small horse:=) Let’s see how this miracle of technology will behave, i will weigh all the pros and cons and then it will become clear – I will go as before with a backpack, or with a cart.
I have been walking for several days, and only to get out of the city of Volgograd took about three days – because the city is huge-almost 90 km along the Volga river. But today I and happily finished Volgograd region and spent the night near the village of Svetlyy Yar… While the weather is good, warm and we must move on!
