“A miracle is always waiting for us somewhere near despair.”(C) Erich Maria remark
Yesterday was one of the most difficult days of the journey. All the way very sore legs, thirsty and had nowhere to spend the night.
At such moments, I begin to try my luck and look for local groups of the cities I pass. The course was the village of Elnat and Vkontakte, I came across a group of the local Church.
Wrote a message to the group administrator Svetlana Vereshchak and the hope went on. Quickly enough I received the answer that father Maxim gave his blessing to stop at the Temple, and that I was already expected. Needless to say, when someone is waiting for you somewhere, then the going is much more fun?
However, to Elnat was still a nice distance, at one point, blisters on feet hurt so much that I had to remove shoes and go barefoot on the highway. By the way, it is very convenient if the asphalt is flat. And walked the remaining five kilometers. I felt like a real wandering hobbit.
Entering the village, I put on my shoes so as not to embarrass anyone with my appearance and went to the Temple. It was getting dark. All day on the road again. At the entrance I was met by a large good-natured man, who turned out to be father Maxim. I was taken to the Lodge, shown a place for the night and offered dinner.
After all it was as in a good fairy tale. Big wooden table, cozy decoration, wonderful people. It turned out that Svetlana is a mother, gave birth to five children, owns an art Studio. Father Maxim is a talented musician and in his spare time plays in a rock band. The family has long been friends with the soloist of the group Masha and Bears, familiar with Boris Grebenshchikov and many other famous people.
Suggest you to listen the to the songs of father Maxim. These are real, beautiful Russian people. You should meet them.
