Country club or Farm house The Ruteniya Country Club is a stunning place near St. Petersburg, in a quiet location, next to a coniferous forest. First of all, it is an equestrian club where children and adults are taught to ride horses.
But all guests are welcome here and everyone will find a lot of interesting things – own farm with goats, chickens, ducks; a large green area; a country hotel; a restaurant for 100 seats with a fireplace; a place on the shore of a pond where you can have a picnic with a real barbecue.
Ruteniya is a venue for various events – concerts, Russian folk festivals, and a Festival of the Middle Ages, which happening every year. In April 2020, restaurant invited a chef from India (Jaipur), so now you can relax in nature, ride horses, try dishes of Russian, Hungarian, and now Indian cuisine!
Many of the dishes in the restaurant are prepared from their own products, directly from the farm. The club has its own bakery-bread and pastries will be directly from the oven. You can also buy fresh cheese, milk and smoked fish.
Country club of Ruteniya is 15 km from Saint-Peterburg. You can combine a visit here with an excursion to Lake Ladoga, Fortress Oreshek, and the Museum of The blockade on Lake Ladoga.
