Prince Peter Petrovich decided to raise this pavilion after a wedding trip to Europe. Inspired by the castle of Chantilly in France, Peter decided to build the Venus pavilion in the Gatchina parks. This attraction is also shrouded in various legends. The building stands directly on the shore of the White lake, the walls are decorated with picturesque panels and paintings in the technique of grisaille, the floor is laid with parquet with an elegant patterns.
